Bia saw an underserved market for female athletes and is building the fitness platform that this market has always wanted and never had. We love to see companies who build the hard-to-create solution that will fundamentally disrupt a market and delight the customer. We're very pleased to join the first round of investors in Bia.

What does KVP see in loyakk? We saw the classic combination of a strong, experienced management team and a startup targeting an under-served market. We love CEOs and founding teams who have proven they can find, focus on, and deliver a great solution. While there are plenty of social networks, there are few if any companies who can deliver local communities where brand, user, and knowledge delivery are all served elegantly. We're very pleased to join the first round of investors in loyakk.
Blossom Coffee is a startup dedicated to better coffee brewing through technology. Blossom believes that it takes science, engineering, and art to brew a cup of insanely great coffee, and in doing so, they will change the entire coffee ecosystem.

What does KVP see in Blossom? First and foremost, a passionate founder and team. The CEO is exudes passion about coffee and advancing the science and art of brewing. We're also excited to see the impact of capturing rich data around the brewing process and how that can fundamentally change the coffee ecosystem. We're very pleased to join the first round of investors in this innovative startup.
Never watch sports alone! Tok TV is an amazing startup bringing together friends around the world to watch and enjoy sports in a social setting.

What does KVP see in tok.tv? tok.tv was the first connected TV application we've seen that we believe changes the game ;-) The CEO is an experienced startup leader and is passionate about delivering an amazing solution that delights sports fans. We were very pleased to be the first investor in tok.tv.
Romotive builds smartphone robots that can be controlled from any smart device anywhere in the world. Their ultimate goal is to build robots that are intuitive enough for normal people to use and cheap enough for normal people to afford.

What does KVP see in Romotive? Not only did we see a hyper-intelligent founding team, but the intuitive decision to focus on the robotics and software developer community and make the robot's brains be a smartphone was brilliant. KVP was pleased to join the first round of investors in Romotive.
 
Remitly is the emerging online remittance services that allows immigrants in the U.S. to send money home faster and cheaper than ever before.

What does KVP see in Remitly? We saw a focused, experience management team that is radically improving the efficiency of a large and under-served market. Classic business opportunity! KVP was pleased to join the first round of investors in Remitly.
Tap Me! is a mobile in-game advertising platform solution. Tap Me! connects games to brands and brands to gamers with the next generation of in-game advertising that is easy, scalable, and effective. Tap Me! brings together a great team from the advertising, game, and creative space to bridge the gap between the social gaming market and the advertising spent of the world's biggest consumer brands.

What does KVP see in tap.me? An under-served game advertising market ripe for innovation. KVP is excited to be an early angel investor in tap.me and we're also on the Board of Directors.
 
LootWorks is a small group of experienced game developers making fun synonymous with social gaming. They are currently working on their first Android game to be released in late 2012. KVP is also a board member for Lootworks.

What does KVP see in Lootworks? Well, we were one of the founders, so we're a bit biased. Mobile gaming still has huge opportunities for startups who bring talent, experience, a great 3D engine, and all of the classic game mechanics that make a great game. KVP was the first angel investor in Lootworks and we're also on the Board of Directors.
Zekira, a startup composed of Silicon Valley veterans who are passionate about fighting information overload. Zekira helps you recall the context around half-remembered things.

What does KVP see in Zekira? First and foremost, a seasoned founding team whose passion about their market segment is immense. We also see an underserved opportunity in terms of instant information recall for business professionals. KVP was the first angel investor in Zekira.
 
Vanilla Forums is the leading commercial and open source community forum solution. Vanilla offers seamless integration with existing web applications and avoids the feature-bloat that plagues most forum software through the use of its revolutionary plug-in framework. Vanilla has already been adopted by hundreds of thousands of sites, including companies like O'Reilly Media, Rackspace, Mozilla, and many more.

What does KVP see in Vanilla? We saw a great, young founding team that understood the actual needs of brands, companies, and individuals who need to build and support communities. KVP joined in the Series A and A1 funding for Vanilla and we're also on the Board of Directors.

Klein Venture Partners was the first angel investor in and an adviser to Zoodles, an amazing consumer solution dedicated to safely entertaining and educating young children online. The Zoodles team is excited to be working on a product that can change how children learn while giving parents an active role in the experience. Zoodles joined the HTC family in October 2011.
 
Klein Venture Partners was the first angel investor in Shelfari, a social networking site for book lovers. Shelfari was acquired by Amazon in 2008.

Klein Venture Partners is both an adviser to and a mentor for Hub Venture's startups. 
FounderFuel is a Montreal, Canada based mentor driven startup accelerator that provides seed capital and access to veteran entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists and senior executives.
